Compare all 4G Tariffs

Now O2 and Vodafone are offering 4G

Vodafone and O2 have officially released their 4G tariffs for mobile phones. And their appears to be some fierce competition... Watch out EE.

However, before delving in to a 4G tariff from any of these three major networks, perhaps you may want to wait until December, when Three release their 4G service and are promising 4G to all their customers with NO extra charge... That's right, Three 4G for free!

The tariffs are all listed below, ranging from the budget option to the high end user option for 4G:

NetworkCost (pm)DataExtras
EE£21500 MBPhone back-up, EE film aka Orange Wednesdays

EE£418 GBPhone back-up, EE film aka Orange Wednesdays
EE£6120 GBPhone back-up, EE film aka Orange Wednesdays, plus TV, music or film add-on

For a starter package, EE is the best cost-wise, offering a 4G package for 21 per month for 500Mb data - whether that will be enough data is another question you should ask yourself... The cost rises to 26 per month for 1GB of 4G data, the same price as the cheapest O2 deal.

Vodafone are offering a whopping 2GB of data for 26 per month, with the first three months of the deal unlimited 4G data. They will also give you Sky Sports 1 and 2 or Spotify Premium sunscription for 6 months.

If you take Vodafone's more expensive tariffs (31 for 4GB a month, or 36 for 8GB) the Sky Sports and Spotify subscriptions are unlimited.

But what if you want to try out the 4G data plans.. You want to see whether 4G is all it's been hyped up to be? Well, for a package without commitment, O2 offer a 3 month no commitment trial period of 4G services. Seriously worth considering.

So, if you're curious about 4G and you are on O2, you can have a test run... Problem is, if you decide to revert back to the 3G system you are going to be so disappointed!
